This year was a good one in terms of fashion. Although a few may have slipped my mind, here are some of my favorite looks, moments, and best-dressed people from 2017.
Paris stunned me at the VMA’s this year. Unlike some who wrongfully placed her on a worst dressed list, I found her sheer Dior dress refreshing and youthful. Her glam, accessories, and tattoos completed the look perfectly. Surely her unique and ever-changing style won’t disappoint in 2017.
Men with platinum blond hair is a trend I wasn’t really on board with until I saw it fashion insider, Joey Zauzig. Among other things, Joey is an activist, host, speaker, and style icon. Whether he’s on a tropical vacation or rocking a Fendi coat on the frigid city streets of New York, he always looks his best. I follow a lot of male bloggers, stylists, and influencers but Joey is far and away my favorite. Along with the amazing looks he pulls together, he inspires his followers by opening up about his personal life including his fitness journey, sensitivities, and the events of his daily life. Joey has already shared his motivational New Year resolutions on Instagram, and I am beyond excited to see all the amazing looks and insights he’ll bring into the New Year.
The stunning Brandon Maxwell gown that Winnie Harlow wore to the British Fashion Awards 2017 was one of my favorite looks of 2017. I’m a fan of Brandon Maxwell and I think Winnie was the perfect model for this gown. The high slit and long sleeved top created the perfect balance and the look was over all flattering. Winnie is always edgy and on point, qualities she’s not likely to leave in 2017.
Kourtney makes my best dressed of 2017 because her street style is undeniably on point. I started loving her street style a few years ago when she was always wearing Yeezy thigh-highs and an oversized pullover. Since then, her street style has evolved even more. Whether she’s wearing high wasted pants with a crop top or a slip dress over a t-shirt, Kourtney rocks every look effortlessly. Her petite figure and nonchalant attitude make the perfect canvas for anyone from the Kardashian’s roster of glam artists. I’m never disappointed to see a paparazzi picture of Kourt K on my Instagram explore page and I look forward to watching her style evolve in the coming year. Another of Kourtney’s 2017 highlights is her amazing collection with Pretty Little Thing.
Juan David Borrero
Juan David Borrero is a Senior Partnership Manager at Snapchat and an extremely well dressed man. He looks great at desert music festivals, walking down the street, and on some of the world’s most prestigious red carpets. No matter where Juan goes, his looks are fashion forward and elegant. Alongside his supermodel girlfriend, Jasmine Tookes the pair make a fashion force to be reckoned with.
Hailey Baldwin makes my 2017 best dressed list largely in part because she was, in my opinion, the best dressed at the 2017 Met Gala. I actually found the Met Gala to be a bit of a snooze this year, which is why I appreciate every tier of her incredible Carolina Herrera gown. Hailey has truly been on her game all of 2017 with the help of her stylist, who happens to be one of my favorite celebrity stylists, Maeve Reilly.
